Good to know
- Head height (30-34mm chin-to-crown) and face width (16-24mm) are measured within a defined 30mm x 40mm 'effective/valid area' inside the full 33mm x 48mm photo.
- Background color rules genuinely differ by channel: NIA's domestic standard (used here) permits white, light grey, or light blue (with specific colorimetric brightness/hue values given); the separate overseas-consular passport-submission channel (cs.mfa.gov.cn) requires white only. File-size limits also differ: 20-80KB domestic (used here) vs. 30-80KB overseas-consular.
